Partnership
Nebraska Children and Families Foundation values partnership and believes that together we can achieve greater impact, pool strengths, create sustainability and ultimately provide better outcomes for children and families.
Most public funds for early childhood are allocated through the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services and the Nebraska Department of Education. We have strong partnerships with these two agencies and work together on common early childhood issues that cross agency boundaries.
Nebraska is fortunate to have a private community that believes in the value of investing in the first five years. The Buffett Early Childhood Fund is one of those partners who supports strategies that shift the odds of young children at risk.
We are active participants at the national level through the Birth to Five Policy Alliance and the First Five Years Fund. Both organizations are supported by private partners who are invested in the effectiveness of sound state policies focused on the early years.
