History

Advancing administrative policy has been at the core of Nebraska Children and Families Foundation since inception in 1997. Success in systems change spurred new partnerships, taking public policy to another level.

In 2005, along with private partners, Nebraska Children and Families Foundation began to promote investments in early childhood within the legislative arena to inform policy debates and shift the odds for our youngest children at risk.

"Nebraska Children and Families Foundation is committed to making good on the great American promise of equal opportunity. What's more, Nebraska Children and Families Foundation is getting the job done when it comes to bringing people together and shaping sensible, responsible policies for those infants, toddlers and preschoolers whose families are facing the greatest odds."Daniel Pedersen, President, Buffett Early Childhood Fund
